Obituary of Dennis Baker

Dennis G. Baker Newark- Dennis Baker, of Lyons St., passed away March 8, 2014 at Clifton Springs Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rochester to the late Gordon Baker and Helen Mabels, Dennis served with the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his service he was employed with the Palmyra Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department. In 1980 Dennis opened Ivan & Izac Automotive in Clifton Springs. He also was an officer for the American Legion Post 286. Dennis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Helen (Jarzynka); sons, Todd, Doug (Sonya), Luke (Ashley) Baker; grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Jennings, Christian, Carley, and Kolsten Baker; brothers: Mike (Terry), Joe (Kelly), Gordon (Sandy), and Fred Baker; sister; Nancy (Darrell) Morales; step-mother, Loretta Baker; sisters in-law, Stephanie, Veronica, Susie, Betty, Lillie, Patty, Judy, and Ethel; brothers in-law, Stanley, Richie, Mark, Frank, Jose, Jimmy, Greg and Randy; many nieces and nephews and friends, who lovingly supported Dennis through his illness. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sara Baker Fuller. Dennis will be truly missed by all of his family and friends he leaves behind. Friends may call, Wednesday, March 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held, Thursday, March 13 at the funeral home.
