Obituary of John Green

John E. Green Canandaigua- John Green, 58, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2014, after his battle with cancer. John was born in Canandaigua, May 10, 1955, to the late Raymond and Dorothy Green. He retired from the Navy on October 31, 1994 after serving 20 years. He also was employed at F.F. Thompson Hospital retiring with 18 years. He loved football, NASCAR, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his family. Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his niece, Shemeriah Green. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; sons, John Jr., Rodney (Penny) Gennocro and Chris (Tanya) Gennocro; brothers, Raymond (Margret), Scott (Barb); sisters, Bonnie (Ron Ralston) Wagner, Connie (Howard) Degaugh, Karen (Thomas) Gillette and Dawn (David) Cerretto; grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Conner and Brock. Friends may call Thursday, March 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that that donation be directed to a hospice of your choice.
