Obituary of Annette Distante

ANNETTE DISTANTE RUSHVILLE: Annette Distante, 61 of Gorham Road, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 21, at Thompson Hospital. Mrs. Distante was born in Rochester to the late Edwin and Jean Guli Gerenski on January 21, 1948. She attended Rochester school and recently had been a teller with First Niagara Bank in Canandaigua. Survivors include her husband of 27 years Samuel Distante, her daughter Lori Ann Griffo of Manhattan, her son Shawn (Johanna) Griffo of Rochester, three brothers Stephen (Sandra) Gerenski of Florida, Edwin (Gwen) Gerenski of Rochester and Robert (Karen) Gerenski of Holley and her sister-in-law Patricia Gerenski of Rochester. Annette is also survived by seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary in 1988. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Annette's funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, North Main St., Canandaigua Wednesday morning at 10:00 o'clock.
