Obituary of Leonor Rodriguez

Leonor Torres Rodriguez Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Canandaigua: Leonor Torres Rodriguez, 83, of Chapel Street passed away May 9, 2014. Leonor was born June 22, 1930. She moved to New York City in 1950, where she met and married her husband Pedro Rodriguez of 57 years. She worked at the Bowery Savings Bank, in NYC, for many years, as a bank teller. She returned home, to retire, in Puerto Rico. Then, for the past twelve years she came to Canandaigua to be near her family. Leonor was an avid reader, proud Democrat, taught many how to read and write and most importantly, was the family care taker. She is survived by her children Carlos (Margie) Rodriguez of Florida, Ivette (Steven) Hillier, of N.J., Betty (John) Clawson of Canandaigua and Peter (Rose) Rodriguez, of N.J. and her Grandchildren Michael, Jeremiah, Daniel, Kisha, Jessica, Taylor, Matthew, Brian, Ashley, Mason ,Savanna, Ella, Garrett, Francesca and Gambyl. A 12:30 memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 16 at St. Mary’s Church, 95 North Main St., Canandaigua. Burial will be in Chapman cemetery.
