Obituary of John LeGrett

John M. LeGrett 12/14/1942-6/24/2014 Canandaigua- John LeGrett passed away June 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Canandaigua to the late Michael and Madeline LeGrett. John enjoyed many things in life, but above all, he cherished his family. He was a member of the Shortsville American Legion, Canandaigua Moose Lodge and BPOE #1844. John was a football referee with the Finger Lakes and Rochester associations. He retired from Eastman Kodak after 35 years and spent his winters in Florida. When home he enjoyed greeting and serving coffee to his Gateway Grille friends. John is survived by his wife, Suzanne; daughter, Kelly (Lance) Norton; sons, Kevin (Patty) LeGrett, Patrick (Bonnie) Welch, Jonathan (Susan) Welch; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Barb); Michael (Judith); Uncle and Aunt, Carl and Helen Jones; numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Barb LeGrett. Friends may call Sunday, June 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 am funeral Mass will be held Monday June 30 at St. Mary’s Church 95 N. Main St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
