Obituary of Elizabeth Pierce

Elizabeth Spencer Pierce August 28, 1909 – October 8, 2009 Canandaigua, N.Y. Devoted wife and wonderful aunt. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Mel Spencer and Lula Masseth. She was also predeceased by her husband Frederick “Pete” Pierce, a well known artist in the Canandaigua area, and a sister Barbara Wright. She is survived by her caring nephew Alan Wright. Elizabeth attended Canandaigua Schools and later graduated from Hobart William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y. She retired in 1977 with 40 years of service at the Welfare Department in Canandaigua. There will be no call hours, a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
