Obituary of John Bowers

John R. Bowers passed away peacefully on October 3rd. He is survived by his loving wife Anne M. Bowers, his daughter Sheryl (David I.) Tuttle, three Grandchildren; Carol (Ronald)Vargo, David J.(Christine Brown) Tuttle, Jennifer (Kevin Ray) Tuttle, six Great Grandchildren; David M.(Amanda) Tuttle, Amy (Andy) Dax, Sarah Tuttle, Joseph, Matthew and Emily Vargo, and two Great Great Grandchildren; Brandon and McKenzie Dax and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by one remaining living brother, Bruce (Roseann) and sister, Barbara Vienna. He is predeceased by his son, John R. Bowers, Jr. and five brothers and three sisters. John was a WWII veteran and worked for New York State Electric and Gas for 37 years. During his career he served in public positions with the Kiwanis Club, Canandaigua Country Club and Quarter Century Club. At John's request there will be no calling hours. There will be a private family service on Tuesday, October 7th at Fuller's Funeral Home. Internment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
