Obituary of James Ward

James Henry Ward “Jake” Jake passed away Wednesday evening at his home with his wife (Jane) and son (James) at his side after an extended battle with leukemia. He will be dearly missed by his wife and son. He was the child of the late Thomas and Mildred Ward of West Bloomfield. He was predeceased by sisters; Edith Ward, Doris (Arlington) Pratt, brothers; Theodore Ward , Bernard (Ann) Ward. He is survived by brothers; Ronald (Muriel) Ward Honeoye Falls, and Eugene (Sue) Ward of Forked River New Jersey. Jake was born January 12, 1945 and enjoyed fishing, camping, nascar, country music and cats. Jake and Jane (Lathrop) were married February 19, 1966 in Honeoye Falls, NY. He worked at ICI (Pinco) in Lima, NY for 37 seven years until it closed. He then worked at K & H precision in Honeoye Falls until November 16, 2006.A memorial service will be held at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church October 15, 2014 at 11 Am.
