Obituary of Louis Madru

Louis R. Madru Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather Canandaigua, N.Y. Louis Madru of Center Point Blvd. passed away November 18, 2009 at the VA Medical Center. Louis served with the U.S. Army in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Marine Corp. League, D.A.V and a 36 year member of Canandaigua American Legion Post #256. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Irene Madru, daughter; Kathy (Joe) Kaukani of Farmington, sister Doris DeWolfe of Massachusetts, grandchildren; Jeremy Hoy, Jonathan (Heather) Hoy, five great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held Saturday November 21 at 2 pm. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Irene would like to thank the nursing staff at the V.A. medical Center, ward 8A for their kindness and compassion as they cared for Louis.
