Obituary of Barbara Severcool

Barbara Collins Severcool Canandaigua- Barb Severcool slipped peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on April 13, 2015. She will be keenly missed by those who loved her so much. Barb was a beautiful wife to her husband and friend, Lynn. She was a dedicated step-mother to Jeffrey and Cassandra Severcool; she was a loving sister to Michael (Patricia) Collins, Stephen Collins, Sharon (Steve Mumby), David (Lana) Collins and Tim (Mary) Collins. She was “Nina” to Owen and Leah Severcool who brought so much delight to her heart. She was a dear Aunt to Sarah, Aaron (Jillian), Christopher (Stephanie) and Anne Collins, and a terrific great aunt to Makenzie. She was a much loved daughter in-law to Iris and Ralph Severcool and sister in-law to Keith Severcool. Barb was predeceased by her wonderful parents, Jim and Louise Collins. Barb was a trusted friend to many people. She was a true follower of the Lord in her worship with her fellow believers at Zion Fellowship. In her role as Guidance Counselor for over 20 years at Palmyra- Macedon School District, she touched the lives of hundreds of students. Barb was a strong believer in educational opportunities for all and so it was her wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Dollars for Scholars Program, Palmyra- Macedon School, 151 Hyde Parkway, Palmyra, NY 14522. Friends may call Wednesday, April 15, from 4-7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua.
