Obituary of Calvin Castner

Calvin (Der) Castner Beloved Husband, Father, Stepfather, and Special Papa. Calvin Castner of Birdie Lane passed away April 20, 2015 at FF Thompson Hospital. Calvin grew up in PennYan and joined the Airforce after Highschool. After being honorably discharged from the service he started Castner Radio in Penn Yan. In the 70’s he moved to Canandaigua where he retired from the business in 1996. Threw the years he served many local and State agencies with their communication needs. Calvin enjoyed boating, gardening, woodworking, and activities with his family. Calvin is surivived by his wife of 35 years Carol Castner. Children; Michael (Donna Tiffany) Castner, Canandaigua, Douglas Castner Rochester NY. Patricia (Scott) Holmes, Jeffrey (Jackie) Uhl, Jodi (Ron) Cooley, Laurie McKnight. Grandchildren; Shane (Anne Steinhardt) Holmes, Brittany (Cody Carmichael) Holmes, Jami (Eric Guzman) Uhl, Joshua (Charity Knopf) Uhl, Carrie Bellis, David (Holly Bacon) Cooley, Krysten (Kevin) Glor, Patrick (Savannah) McKnight, Kourtney (Joel Landcastle) McKnight, Kiara Pabon, Kenny Santiago. Great Grandchildren; Kian Karter, Kalab Glor, Gavin Landcastle, Kristopher, Breonna, Jayden, Kayden Amos, Haylee James, Elisha Johnson, Tristen Weaver, and many special friends.
