Obituary of Joseph Miller

Joseph Henry Miller Farmer, fireman Canandaigua, N.Y. Joseph Miller of Bristol Rd. passed away January 20, 2010 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. He was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Miller. A lifelong farmer, Joe moved to Canandaigua from Webster, N.Y. in 1935. He was a former 4-H leader and a member of the Canandaigua Grange, Farm Bureau, and Cheshire Volunteer Fire Dept. Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years Virginia, sons James (Judith), John (Donna), Jeff (Linda), grandchildren; Jennifer Miller (Mike Burnett), Christina Ressue, Matt Miller, Megan Miller (Tim Michaelsen), great grandchildren; Nathan, Nick, and Noah Ressue. He is also survived by a brother Charles (Margaret), a sister Margaret Kay and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Albert and a sister Clara Morrice. Friends may call Friday January 22 from 4-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Pinebank Cemetery, Cheshire. The family will greet friends following the service at the Cheshire Volunteer Fire Hall.
