Charlie, Carol, Stephen, Charles and Alan. I am so sorry to hear about wee Marion. I am just finding this out and sorry to have missed her service. Through the years I have thought of them often. I have so many wonderful memories of both the families spending time together. Many laughs. Your mum was a spitfire and I will always remember her fondly. You are all in my thoughts.

My mind struggle's to take this all on board, like it can't be real, not my friend Marion? You knew I always dreaded the thought of hearing this news, my mind tells me it can't be, but my heart tells me otherwise. I can hear her now talking on the phone to me, and sitting in our living room having her photo took with my young brother Brian who has D/S, she was so sweet with him and my young sister, also hubby Tommy as she called him, and as sweet as ever on the phone, my son Hugh, daughter Lorraine, grandson Glen, they all loved her, and are sadden to hear the news. Our paths crossed on Glesga pals website about 2003, she was upset about not be able to help out when it came to her mother in Scotland, that's when I felt the need to say something as hard as that was for me at the time never going on websites or speaking up, and also the fact I just lost my mother, but knew I had to reassure her, I loved her from that day onward. Memories of be able to be with her when her mum past on and visit's to meet up at her brother Hugh's house, who I also got to know, and on his passing too. Oh how my heart would light up when she came on Glesga pals website and how she always came across with her sweet and ever so wise words, her laughter at JR (Jimmy Reid) as she named him, how we shared in all the good and bad times always, she was a true Glesga woman, a real lady with a big heart, and clever, wise, caring, thoughtful, honest, giving, understanding always, putting others before herself, and never judgmental towards others. To me she was a wise mother, a sister figure, and why we called each other sis, and why I feel apart of me has died with her, there will never be another like her. My big sis Marion. Love you forever and always. Bonny xxxx

I will miss you Auntie Marion. I will always remember you as a kind and humorous person. You have touched so many lives and have left your mark on this earth with your beautiful family. You were at my wedding. I also remember you from when I was little and you and Uncle Charlie would be visiting all of us in Connecticut. My condolences to Marion's family. I worked with Marion at Mepco/Electra in Canandaigua many years ago. She was a joy to work with. Great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. She was a hard, conscientious worker. Great to be around. Although we lost touch with each other, I would hear about her now and then. When I think back to those days, Marion, "Scottie", comes to mind.

Sorry to read about Marion's passing. I know my mother, Dorothy Barber, was so very fond of her. She always said nice things about Marion. Our family found Marion's posting on the guestbook when my mom passed away very comforting. I am hoping the two friends are together once again.
