Obituary of Joseph Nelson

Canandaigua- Joseph Nelson, 73, returned to his heavenly home on September 09, 2015 after a battle with kidney failure and other complications. Joseph was born to the late Elijah and Josephine Nelson on December 23, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, who predeceased him with his younger brother, Jesse Nelson. Joseph was a happy person who enjoyed music to the fullest. Joseph is survived by his sister, Virginia Nelson and her children, Dwayne Lewis, Tyrone Lewis, Charisse Jenkins, and Kevin Lewis; 12 grand nieces and nephews, 3 great grand nephews, an aunt, Mrs. Lillian Gibbs and many cousins; as well as the Finger Lakes home family. A private memorial service will be held by the family, but all are welcome. Services will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua.
