Everyone who met my brother-in-law David Ashley was immediately
uplifted by his hearty laugh and jovial spirit. But what I always admired
most was what this wise man taught me as I watched him easily flow like a river through lifes challenges. He possessed a inner peace and patience
which was only superseded by his positive nature and his deep love
for his wife, Martha and his country.
Our family has lost a great role model, but David has left us with pleasant
memories and much to aspire toward.
Blessings and love,
Bonnie Ashley

Very saddened about the passing of David Ashley, who was so very close to my family and especially to my brother, Ashley and his family, Karen & Nijl.
A lovely soul, always with a gentle smile followed by warm kind-heartened jokes, complete with an abundance of laughter and merriment.
Everyone adored David Ashley for his kindness, warmth and wonderful sense of humor.
He was exemplary in so many ways a man who bravely served his country, a loving & devoted husband and, most importantly, a Good Man.
Much Love to you & Martha, Uncle David.

"Hello, hello, hello" "Everyones a gem" Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
David was an angel who lit up every place that he entered with his infectious laughter and warm spirit. These qualities were felt by all who met or knew him. David filled a place in our hearts that no one else will ever be able. It is hard to believe that our UD is gone but heaven has gained one beautiful angel. We love you David with all our hearts and all our souls forever and always always and forever.

You can no longer see me, but please know that I am there
I am the flowers in the garden, I am the wind beneath your hair
The memories that I left behind, shall forever be with you
As for me I am in heaven now, where my life will start anew
(Excerpt From: "The Eternal Garden")
Everyone who truly knew David loved him not only for his kindness and his gentle, loving spirit but for everything that was good and right in the world. Hopefully, your great faith and abiding love will guide you through this most difficult time. Nobody could have ever been a more loving and loyal wife to David than you. He loved you dearly. Martha, my deepest and heartfelt condolences, Joy McCaine Allen
