Obituary of Barbara Torbitt

Barbara Jean Torbitt 75 of Canandaigua NY (Crystal Beach) died Nov. 5th 2015 after many long illnesses. Daughter of the late Dorothy and Raymond Torbitt, Survived by William (Joanne), Doreen, Lawrence (Esther), Dear Friends and Caregivers Phyllis Culkin, Patricia Appelt Barbara served in The Salvation Army for nearly 20 years as Captain in the capacity of an inspirational speaker, pastor, and administrator of a Salvation Army Hotel for Senior Citizens and Professional Business Women. She also worked as Director of the Rockville Centre Housing Authority in Rockville Centre,NY for fifteen years. Predeceased by brothers: Robert, Donald Sr., Jack and Raymond Jr. Friends may call Tue. From 2-4 & 6-8 at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held Wed. at 11 Am. at the funeral home.
