Obituary of Kathleen Duscher

Kathleen E. Duscher Canandaigua- Kathleen Duscher of Stanley, NY passed away on Nov 19th at age 78. Kathleen is survived by her loving & dedicated husband Norman, Daughter Kathleen Hoey, Son Joseph Duscher, two Granddaughters Christine Hamilton and Carrie Hoey and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Kathleen loved spending time with her family & friends. She was very successful and diverse in that she loved her home and was also involved with fund raising, the governor’s traffic safety council, Canandaigua business & professional women’s club all while being accomplished in business. Her career grew from being the executive director of the Yates county unit of the American Cancer Society to owning & operating her own business, Straight transportation, as president & COO. In retirement Kathleen became a life member of the friends of Wood library, Middlesex conservation club, AARP of Canandaigua and enjoyed her bowling team. Kathleen touched the lives of many through her accomplishments and care for others. A private family memorial gathering will be held in Buffalo. Click for Map and Directions
