Obituary of Bernard Harrington

Bernard B. Harrington Canandaigua, NY Bernard Harrington of Chapin passed away May 17, 2010. He was 76. Born in Rochester, Bernard served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He and his family owned and operated Harrington Used Cars. A reservist for 35 years he retired from the New York National Guard with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Bernard is survived by his wife, Opal Harrington; sons, Lee W. Wigmore, Earnest Harrington, David (Vicki) Harrington; grandchildren, David, Casey, Samantha, Emily, Nicole Harrington, Lee, Michele and Holly Wigmore. He is also survived by a son-in-law Joe Lindsay. He is predeceased by his wife Eleanor Harrington; a daughter Hope Harrington; two brothers, David Montague and John Harrington. Friends may call Monday May 24 from 4-8 pm. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 25 at 10 am. at the funeral home. Burial in Brookside Cemetery will immediately follow. A donation in Bernard’s name may be made to the Shortsville American Legion Post 34 P.O.
