BLOOMFIELD: Anne Crowley, 81, died Tuesday, January 2, 2008 at her Woolston Road home.
Anne was born in Canandaigua on July 11, 1926 to the late Floyd W. and Gertrude (Smith) Rayburn. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Keuka College (Class of 1947). Following her graduation from Keuka, she practiced nursing in the area for 44 years working for Dr. Howard in Bloomfield and for over thirty years at Thompson Hospital. She was a member of St. Bridget's/St. Joseph's Church, the Catholic Daughters and the East Bloomfield Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Eugene M. Crowley, her son and daughter-in-law Patrick & Tina Crowley and her daughter Diane Crowley all of Bloomfield. Anne is also survived by three grandchildren Shannon (Mark) Dennis of Lima, Erin Crowley of Lima and Bridget (Joel) Marquis of Chicago; three great grandchildren Isabelle, Keegan and Ashley; her sisters Dolores Roth of Rochester and Joan (Howard) Rose of Buffalo; her brother Don (Barb) Rayburn of Bloomfield; her sisters-in-law Betty Rayburn of Bloomfield, Alice Rayburn of Honeoye Falls, Dolores Rayburn of Canandaigua and Joyce Rayburn of Bloomfield and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Hugh, Jack, Floyd "Dutch" and Robert Rayburn.
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends and family are invited to Anne's funeral Mass which will be held at St. Bridget's/St. Joseph's Church, Church Street, Bloomfield, Saturday morning at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Bridget's/St. Joseph's Church, POB 248, East Bloomfield, NY 14443 or to Eastview Dialysis, Inc., 120 Victor Heights Parkway, Victor, NY 14564.
