Keating was a warm and wonderful person and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Our hearts and prayers go out to the whole Coniff family.

I just sent this to Peggy asking her to give Ginny, Deane and Casey my love - here are my thoughts about my favorite "Paul Bunyan" and the Coniff family I grew up with in Weston. What wonderful memories and what endless love. Pegasus: one of my heros - I loved Keating and have soooooo many wonderful memories of my personal Paul Bunyon - camping in Quebec 3 weeks with your family and your dad out fishing with his indian guide. A loving man even though he probably was more one with nature than with people - but he always laughed, had a kind word and in his woodsy way showed a lot of love for all of you and your friends. Your mother must be lost - he was her pillar and she so obviously adored him as all of you did. Oh, Peggo, I'm so sorry for your loss - having lost both parents I know how trying, teary and what loss feels like, let alone the feelings of mortality. Give your mom a huge hug and kiss for me, to Dean, Casey and to you. My favorite memories of growing up are with the Coniff family - my second family. My hands, heart and love are with you. xs. Nancy
