LOUIS C. LUCARELLI
1947 2007
CANANDAIGUA: Louis Lucarelli, 59, of County Road 47, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at his home.
Louis was born in Rochester on Oct. 30, 1947 to the late Chester and Ruth Reisinger Lucarelli. He was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy (Class of 1965) and served with the 770th. Engineers, U.S. Army Reserve in Penn Yan. He and his wife have been active with the 4-H for many years and formed the Canandaigua Trail Blazers. Mr. Lucarelli was a member of the N.R.A. and the Chapin United Methodist Church. He had been a maintenance supervisor with the NYS Department of Transportation from 1968 until his retirement in 2002. Following retirement he had been a security guard at the Finger Lakes Race Track.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Burgess Lucarelli of Canandaigua; his daughters Shelly (David) Green of Shortsville and Shana "Little Elvis" (Parker Buckley) Lucarelli of Farmington and his grandson Jared Green. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Ethel Burgess of Chapin; his aunts and uncles Mr. & Mrs. George D'Amato, Mrs. Lorraine Reisinger, Mrs. Bertha Altamera and Mrs. Evelyn Lucarelli all of Rochester and several cousins.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua, Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Sands Cancer Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424, the Chapin Methodist Church, c/o Shirley Stoddard, 2744 County Road 47, Canandaigua, NY 14424 or Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456.
