CANANDAIGUA: Josephine Violanti, formally of Niagara St., passed away Sun August 26, 2007 at Thompson Continuing care center. She was 92.


She was a life long resident of Canandaigua and retired from the former Magic Snell Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Co. on Niagara Street after many years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.


Jay was the wife of the late Joseph Violanti. She is survived by her children Sandra (Carl) Hendrickson of Bremerton Washington and Dominic Violanti of Fairport, NY, her sister Rose Perrotto of Canandaigua, NY, her

brother, James (Elaine) D'Agostino of Victor, NY, four

grandchildren, six great gandchildren and several Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joe, Dominic & Charles and sisters Tina & Mickey.


Friends may call Thu. from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Fuller Funeral Home Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A prayer service will be held Fri. At 9:30 at the Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at 10 AM. at St. Mary's church Canandaigua NY. Contributions may be made in her name to the Healing Garden in memory of Josephine Violanti % Thompson Health Foundation 350 Parrish St. Canandaigua NY 14424.
