RACHEL D'AGOSTINO


1917 – 2007


CANANDAIGUA: Rachel G. D'Agostino, 89, of Ontario Street, died May 11 at the Geneva Living Center South.


Rachel was born in Canandaigua on August 2, 1917 to the late Anthony and Caroline Parisi Bovenza. She attended St. Mary's School and had been employed by the former G.G. Bra, Lowenthal's Knitting Mill and Nero Equipment. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Society.


The widow of Joseph T. D'Agostino, she is survived by her son Joseph T. (Joan) D'Agostino; her grandchildren Anthony and Christina (Erik Gifford) of Canandaigua;

her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Josephine Bovenza, Rose Perrotto, Jim (Elaine) D'Agostino and Josephine Violani all of Canandaigua and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Alfonso and George and her sister Mary Ceravolo.


Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Canandaigua, Tuesday morning at 10:00. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Martha's Servers, c/o St. Mary's Church, 95 North Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
