RAYMOND J. BAREND Jr.
1957-2008
BRISTOL: Raymond Joseph Barend, 51, of Rte. 64 died suddenly on April 28.
He was predeceased by his mother Elane "Fluffie" Barend and will be sadly missed by his wife of 21 years, Lori; his son Jason (Elizabeth); his grandchildren Makaya and Rylee and his faithful dog Katie. He will also be missed by his father Raymond B. Barend; his sisters Linda, Penny (Tim) Hensler and Heidi (Skip) Guerrie; his mother-in-law Dorothy King; his brothers-in-law Robert (Diane) King and Frank (Caris) King and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Ray was a 29-year employee of the New York State Thruway and loved water skiing, fishing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and tomato soup cake. Ray served his country in the United States Navy.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dominic Church, Shortsville, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Contributions in Ray's memory may be directed to the Ontario County Humane Society, County Road 46, Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to ACC Crisis Center, 28 East Main St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432
