Stella V. Mundy III Loving wife, mother, grandmother & friend Canandaigua NY Of Bristol St. passed away Monday May 19, 2008 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was 60. Stella V. Mundy III She wore so many hats she could have been an insurance salesman. Born and raised in Canandaigua, she breezed through R.B.I. secretarial school as a proud graduate of Canandaigua class of 1966. After a brief interlude she worked at Amica insurance until #1 daughter Cathy had a sister Shelley who was born in 1975. Instead of unemployment she joined NYS employment service and eventually the Finger Lakes DDSO. By the way she married John on May 1, 1971 and enjoyed 37 years of martial bliss. Always living for family and friends. She was a life nonmember of the BPO Elks # 1844. Always willing to share and care, she sponsored many events like children's Xmas parities, Easter egg hunts and the annual installation of new officers to name a few. She leaves a plethora of friends through work, Elks, shopping trips and frequent visits to all the Casino including Reno, Vegas, Fox wood & Montreal. She always had a special love for the witches of Eastwick "you know who you are" She lived by the credo you always have a place in my heart… cause that's where I keep my valuables. She was an adoring mother, a grateful grandmother, a dutiful child and the many relatives will have a large hole in their hearts. She is survived by her husband John Mundy III Children Shelley Peno, Cathy Williams. Sister: June Lincoln Mother: Lena Marafioti Grandchildren: Ashley Peno, Jadon Williams Nieces and Nephews aunts and uncles and cousins Friends may call Thu. 7-9 and Fri. 2-4 and 7-9 at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A prayer service will be held Sat. 5:30 Pm. followed by a funeral mass at 6 PM. at St. Mary's church Canandaigua. Contributions may be made to the Elk's National Foundation 2750 N.
