Obituary of esther underwood

Esther Mae (Bates) Underwood Loving mother & grandmother Farmington NY Of Heritage Circle Farmington passed away June 5, 2008 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home. She was 86. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Mamie Bates. Esther was a life long resident of Canandaigua. She retired from the Ontario County Health Facility after 35 years of service as a nurse's aid. She is survived by her Son; Vernon "Moose" (Doreen) Thompson Jr. Grandchildren; Carl (Mary) Thompson, Michelle (Bob) Thompson and Michael Thompson. Several Great Grandchildren and one nephew: James Oberdorf. She is predeceeased by a brother Carl Bates, sister; Ruth Huntone. Friends may call Sunday from 4-8 PM. at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her name to the Elk's Lodge 1844, 19 Niagara St. Canandaigua NY 14424.
