A golden heart stopped beating, and hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the very best. We will always cherish the laughter and the wonderful times together.

Ollie all the things that you have taught me over the past years have brought me to where I am now.
I hope that one day I can become half the man that you have been and carry myself in the same manor and selfless human being that you have always been. Even when you were going through your own personal pains and struggles, you always made time for those that you cared for? You will always be remembered and loved by all...

What a tremendous loss. Ollie has been a friend since 1994. He helped so many...his life is a story of inspiration and courage. We lose a true gentleman, who was so very proud of his family in Alabama. Rest in peace, my friend.

To the family of Oliver (Ollie), my thoughts are with you at the passing of Ollie. He was a good man. I met Ollie around 1992 @ the VAMC in Canandaigua. We were once house-mates in Canandaigua. He was very inspirational in my recovery from addicition. He was a devoted member of NA (Narcotics Annomous). His "home group was at a church in Canandaigua on Tuesday nights. Although he lived in Geneav, he religiously made the trip on Tuesdays to pass the word of recovery to ALL seeking relief from active addiction. Ollie showed me pics of his son, for whom he was very proud . God bless you all at this time of loss....Ollie will never be forgotten by his NA family.
