Obituary of Alberta Leonard

ALBERTA LEONARD 1921-2011 CANANDAIGUA: Alberta "Bertie" Leonard, 89, passed away on March 15, 2011 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Bertie was born in Burdett, NY on December 22, 1921 She had been employed by ARC and Abbey Industries for over 35 years retiring at the age of 79. She loved children, puppies and especially elephants. Alberta had been attending Canandaigua First United Methodist Church. She is survived by the Kinney family, Sandra, John, Carie, Tyler & Elexis Gardner and Joshua Kinney, with whom she had resided and her many friends at Abbey's. She was preceded in death by her dear friend Helen Butler earlier this year. Friends are invited to call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. where services will follow visitation at 11:30.
