Aunt Fran, Jimmy and Stacey...words cannot express the sadness that is in my heart. I wish that I could be there to hug and cry with you all. I remember going to your house with Dad to hear him and Uncle Jim play and sing all afternoon. When Dad passed away, the music that they played together was paused, and Dad kept an eye on all of us. I pray that they are both watching over us now, and are playing their music so that we all can once again hear it, if only in our hearts. I love you all. I will see you all soon.

Dear Frannie and family, Please accept our condolences for the loss of Jim. The news has flown through the music community and we have seen nothing but respect and kind words in the circulating emails. He was a really nice man with a kind word and a smile for everyone. Not to mention the beautiful voice and commanding stage presence. He will be missed.. The shadow band gains another member, sadly.. Our prayers are with you all.. Love, Rexine

Jim was a wonderful musician, and was one of those who influenced me to play country music many years ago. I will miss him, and my prayers go out to his family for comfort and peace.

My sincere condolences go out to Jim's family, he was one of a kind. He and I performed together several times back in the 80's, and although I hadn't seen him in years, I always considered him a good friend and one of the premier singers in the local country music scene. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Fran, Jim, and Stacy,
Sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He played at my wedding in 1977 and holds a special place in my heart. Though I hadn't seen him in years, I have a great memory of taking mom and dad to hear Jim play one Saturday night in Canandaigua. I know he will be sadly missed. Take care of yourselves.
