Obituary of Lois Avery

Lois W. Avery Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother Canandaigua NY. Formally of North Pearl St. passed away Sept. 12, 2008 at Monroe community Hospital. She was 95. She was the wife of the late Roger Avery. Lois was born in Canandaigua and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy and was employed at the Wood Library for several years. She was also a member of D.A.R. and very active in the Ontario County Republican party and the circle group at the United Church. She loved reading, working in her garden and going for long walks. She is survived by daughters Constance (Joseph) Bellanca, Carol (Robert) Lampe Daughter in law Carole (David) Webster Brother in law Hiram (Peggy) Avery Sisters in law; Loretta and Virginia Avery 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, several Nieces & Nephews Lois was predeceased by her husband Roger C. Avery, son Roger W. Avery, brother Stanton Webster, brothers in law John, Theodore, and James Special thank you to the wonderful staff at Quail Summit for the loving care they gave Lois. Friends may call Wed. 4 – 7 PM. at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held Thu. At 10 AM. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
