LUCINDA WEITZEL Loved to Sing BLOOMFIELD: Lucinda Weitzel, 59, died July 7 at the Geneva Living Center South following a long illness. Lucinda was born in Canandaigua on July 10, 1951 to the late LeRoy and Gladys Simmons. She attended school in Bloomfield and Honeoye and had been employed by the former P&C grocery market for many years. She was a member of the Canandaigua Moose Lodge. Cindy loved to sew and cook and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by her husband LaRue Weitzel; her sons Corey (Kathryn Handwerk) Perkins of Albany, GA and Timothy Coffey of Bristol; her stepdaughter Emma Weitzel of Middlesex; her granddaughter Eleanor; two sisters Deborah (Robert) Joseph of Naples and Kathleen (Robert Champlin) of West Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepson Eric Weitzel in 2007. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00. Pastor Don Muller will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol. The family has suggested memorials be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
