Obituary of Jerrold Collins

Jerrold E. Collins Loving father and Grandfather Canandaigua NY Of parish St. Extension passed away surrounded by his family November 10, 2008 at FF Thompson Hospital. He was 77. Jerry was a graduate of Newark High school and played football and baseball and was very active in little league baseball. He served in the Korean conflict in the medical corp. where he received his training as an x-ray technician. He was employed for many years at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse NY and retired from FF Thompson as an X-ray Technician. He is survived by his children; Michael (Deborah) Pope - Collins Lisa (Al) Hendrikse Matthew (Donna) Collins Joann (Steve) Adams Sharyl (Anthony) Aruck Susan (Kevin) Curry 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren Jerry was predeceased by his loving wife Barbara Collins and a grandson Jacob Wasson There will be no calling hours. A service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Jerry’s name to the Ontario County Humane Society POB 682 Canandaigua NY 14424.
