Obituary of Thomas Martin

Thomas F. Martin Sr. CANANDAIGUA — With his family by his side, Thomas F. Martin Sr., age 63, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, after a long illness. Tom worked at Canandaigua City Hall and Department of Public Works for 20+ years until his retirement in 2009. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas F. Martin Jr.; parents, Chester and Helen; father-in-law, Robert Smith; stepbrothers, Harry and Donny Ferguson; and stepsister, Shirley St. Dennis. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bobby Martin; daughters, Teresa and Melissa; son, Kirk; mother in-law, Shirley Smith; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; stepbrother, Dewey Ferguson; stepsister, Andrea Ferguson; and several sisters- and brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, October 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, where a 4 p.m. funeral service will follow. A private graveside service will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
