Obituary of Carol Beyer

Carol J. (Ross) Beyer Carol (Ross) Beyer, 83, of Naples passed away peacefully Wednesday December 7, 2011 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Carol was born June 5, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert and Helen Bowie. She graduated from Palmyra High School and married Gordon Raymond Ross in 1947. They lived in Palmyra when they first married, and later moved to Hopewell. She worked for many years at Wayne Drugs, then at Seven Springs Realty in Florida. She loved buying from home-shopping networks, watching movies on Lifetime, and cooking. The UPS delivery man won’t know what to do now without her frequent deliveries and gifts of cookies. She brought joy to many people, including her rental customers she loved helping. Carol is predeceased by husbands; Gordon Ross (1981), Bill Beyer (1992), and companion; Herman Jansen (2008). She is survived by children; Richard (Carol) Ross, Jeffrey (Lori) Ross, Barbara Ross, Neil (Barbara) Ross, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren (and one on the way); best friend Nancy Lewkowicz; dear friends in Naples and beloved dog Sara. A special thank you to Dr. Schue and the nurses at Thompson Hospital for their loving care in her last days, and her friends Annie, Diane, Judy and Susan who did so much for her. A Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua.
