I've seen a copy of an article in the local historical society about how at one time Jim and all four of his brothers were overseas serving our country during World War II. The article saluted his patriotic family, and I am still saluting them.
Jim sometimes reminisced about life in Harris, NY, when he was growing up; about working at the sawmill; about his father whose education stopped after he attended eight grades at the one-room schoolhouse yet he was able to build bridges, electrify a saw mill, and so many other things; about how everyone in Harris was family.
Jim Prince was a wonderful man, and he will be greatly missed.

Jim was a "prince' of a man. His acceptance of others and his friendly demeanor endeared him to everyone at Horizons - both residents and staff.
He left an indelible mark on all of our hearts. Thanks for allowing us to know and to love him.
