Obituary of Anthony Minute

Anthony N. Minute Loving; father, grandfather, great grandfather Canandaigua Of Park Ave. passed away January 7, 2009 at the VA Medical Center, He was 84. Born in Manchester NY the son of the late Joseph and Mary Minute. Tony served in the Army infantry in WWII in the battle bulge and the invasion of Normandy where he served under Patton and received two purple hearts and a Bronze star. Tony retired from the VA Medical Center in 1980 after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, American Legion Post # 256, and a Volunteer at the Salvation Army for many years. He also loved fishing and hunting. He is survived by his children: Joseph (Peg), Anthony (Debbie), Stephen (Susan) Minute. Grandchildren Tonya, Gretchen, Michael, Michele, Kara, Caitlin, Lieren. Great Grandchildren; Allyson, Kylla, Brycen, Nicholas. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Genevieve, Brothers, James and Nicholas Minute and a sister Dolores. Friends may call Sunday from 4pm – 8pm. at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10am. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery in the spring.
