Obituary of Doris Pratt

DORIS M. (WARD) PRATT Loving Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma BLOOMFIELD: Doris Pratt, 79, of the Woolston Road died Saturday, January 10, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Doris was born in West Bloomfield on September 27, 1929 to the late Thomas and Mildred Harvey Ward. She was a graduate of Honeoye Falls High School, Class of 1947 and she and her late husband owned and operated Pratt’s Disposal. Doris was an avid bowler for many years and was inducted into the Canandaigua Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame. She is survived by her children Sandy (Wayne) Fessner, of Jordan, NY, Sharon McCall of Naples, David (Wendy) Pratt of Bloomfield, Darlene Hollis of Phelps, Danny (Sue) Pratt of Bloomfield and Donna Palmer of Bloomfield; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters-in-law Ron (Muriel Ward of Honeoye Falls, Gene (Sue) Ward of New Jersey, Jim (Jane) Ward of Canandaigua and Ann Ward of Bloomfield; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John Pratt of Leicester, Gerald Pratt of New Mexico, Betty Nicols of Nunda and Pearl Pratt of Dalton and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friends Eleanor McKee and Bill and Mary Shaw of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Arlington and her son George. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Rev. Corey Keyes will officiate. Burial will be in West Bloomfield Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation.
