George Edwin Perrin Canandaigua- George E. Perrin born November 30, 1926 passed away suddenly, at home, December 22, 2011. The son of Earl and Jennie Perrin, George grew up on West Lake Rd. the oldest of nine children, eight brothers and one sister. He attended the Canandaigua-Cheshire school. George was a smart, self taught man. He joined the Marines at age 18 and served during WWII in Guam and the Saipan Islands as an M.P. After his enlistment, George married Bernice Miles and had five children. He owned a construction business building homes around Canandaigua Lake. An avid hunter, boater, fisher, and car enthusiast, George raced cars at Watkins Glen, Lime Rock and Poconos. Surviving George are his children; Darlene Dow, George Perrin Jr., Ron Perrin, Keith Perrin, and Kathy Barone, 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife; Bernice and two brothers; Al and Jim Perrin. George lived a full life on his own terms and hunted this past season at age 85. He will be remembered always and missed daily. In keeping with Georges wishes the family will hold a private ceremony. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua.
