Obituary of David Azzarella

David J. Azzarella Farmington- David (Dave) Azzarella, age 64, passed away in the comfort of his home on May 25, 2012, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Dave was born July 27, 1947 in Buffalo, NY. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1974 where he worked as an electronics technician on the USS Direct MSO430. Throughout his professional career, Dave worked in the electronics field. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda; his son, Ken; daughter, Lorrie (Mark) Pagano; grandchildren, Megan & Matthew; father, James (Eleni) Azzarella; brother, Thomas (Debbie) Azzarella; and sister, Lynn (Charles) Faso. He is predeceased by his mother, Marilyn Azzarella. Dave was an amazing husband, dad, grampy and friend. He worked hard all his life. He truly enjoyed relaxing with his family & friends, going out for coffee, family vacations, and always raised his glass to cheer the simple things in life. Dave's passion included car restoration and playing poker. His smile, wonderful sense of humor, and positive outlook on life always brought joy to the people around him. He will be missed by all who knew him. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 29 from 2-5 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St, Canandaigua. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
