Obituary of Margaret O'Brien

Margaret “Peg” O’Brien Canandaigua- Margaret O’ Brien, age 71, of Turner Road, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester on Saturday, June 2, 2012. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Terah L. Gates; and her father, Ammon O. Aikey. Peg is survived by her husband of 53 years, Howard “Bud” O’Brien; and children, Penny O’Brien (John Frost), Christine (Pete) Dean, Marjorie (Craig) O’Brien-Carr, Jeffrey O’Brien (Roxie Merithew); mother, Pearl Aikey; sister, Joan (Rick) Day; and brother, Nip (Linda) Aikey. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also leaves behind nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins, along with brothers and sisters-in-law and many friends. Friends may call Thursday June 7 from 4-7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 7 p.m. memorial service will follow at the funeral home.
