DOLORES Van Arsdale
CANANDAIGUA: Dolores Van Arsdale passed away February 25 at F.F. Thompson Hospital.
Mrs. Van Arsdale was born in Syracuse on June 15, 1934. A long-time Auburn resident, she had worked as a medical secretary for Nak K. Shim, MD. Following her retirement, she volunteered for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce at City Hall. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Royle Van Arsdale; her sons Stephen (Claire) Van Arsdale, Rochester and Scott (Diane Carlton) Van Arsdale, Otego; her daughter Cathy (Blaine Jeffries) Van Arsdale, Edwardsville, IL; her grandchildren Tucker Jeffries and Evelyn Van Arsdale; her sister Mildred White, Canandaigua; her brothers John (Violet) Oliphant, Lima and Richard (Gail) Oliphant, Albany. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Saturday, March 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. where a memorial service will be held following visitation at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
