Obituary of Edward Crudele

CANANDAIGUA: Edward Lee Crudele, 65, died March 20 at Thompson Hospital
Ed was born in Canandaigua on July 4, 1943 to the late William and Violet Crudele. He was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy and served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kankakee and the USS Atka, the last naval icebreaker to serve in Antarctica. He was a member of the Carpenters Union for over 30 years and was a member of the American Legion and the Elks Club.
He is survived by his wife Jean of Canandaigua, his daughter Cindy Plouffe of Canandaigua, his son Dave (Jessica) Crudele of Canandaigua and his grandchildren Judd and Travis Plouffe and Frank Crudele. He is also survived by his siblings Robert & Cheryl Crudele, Joy Verbridge, Charles & Casey Crudele, Vincent & Wendy Crudele and Raymond & Liza Crudele, his sister-in-law Donna Crudele, his mother-in-law Ruth Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece Stacy Crudele. He was preceded in death by his brother William Crudele, Jr.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where services will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
