Miss Klage taught me fifth grade in 1967. She read aloud to us daily. Once a month she showed slides of her visits to national parks. She inspired me to be a great traveler, and contributed greatly to my love of maps and social studies.

I'm very saddened to hear about Donna's passing. She was a wonderful neighbour to my family and I, our only neighbour in fact! She was a very kind, generous lady to all, to my family, to our pets, to her own family, to Hattie, to Muffy, and to everyone. She always had a pocket full of dog treats to pass out. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to have her as a neighbour and a friend for such a long time. I wish peace and happiness to her family and friends. Rest in peace, Donna. We will miss you!

Donna will be highly missed by our family. Linda had many years of service working for Donna in the school math department and they became very good friends. I was fortunate enough to become friends with both Donna and Hattie. She was a great Lady putting everyone ahead of herself. I hope she has eternal rest and peace.

I am truly saddened by Donna's unexpected death. I had hoped that after many years of caring for her mother that she would be able to take advantage of a more unencumbered schedule and take time for herself. We taught together for many years at the Primary School, bowled on the teachers' league, and served on committees. Donna was a thoughtful and caring teacher, always with the concerns of the children foremost in her approach, often frustrated by the state and local policies that hampered her ability to reach as many children as possible. She certainly deserved more time to relax and pamper herself here on earth before her eternal rest began. She was a great lady!

Donna was a wonderful lady. She was a friendly, smiling person that I looked up to as a new teacher years ago. She was always supportive. She even came back after retiring to help me with a parent night I was having to help parents understand ways to work with their kids! I remember her fondly. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

Donna was our neighbor for over thirty years. When her mother, Mrs. Klage, moved in with her, they both became an important part of our lives. Many years when our sons were young they would take then to lunch on the last day of school (including a very large sundae) and for several years we bowled together on a Sunday family league at Roseland. She was a special person whom we could count on. Muffy is a special dog (as was Mindy) and Donna could be seen most evenings (if the weather was good) strolling to the end of her property to give Muffy exercise even though many days she was suffering with leg pain. We are very sad for her loss and extend our prayers to Pam and her family.
