Obituary of William Vincent

Vincent, William P. “Coach” Canandaigua- William Vincent,73, passed unexpectedly on January 18, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Predeceased by the love of his life, wife, Sally Vincent; father, John Newell Vincent; sister, Nancy (Mike) Haight. William is survived by his mother, Ruth Vincent; sister, Joan Vincent; brother, John (Jean) Vincent; daughters, Wendy (Scott) Herrick, Holly (Dave) Wood; grandson, Brandon Johncox (Kayleigh Wantuck); great grand-daughter, Skyleigh Rose Johncox and cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members. William served six years with the US Marines Corps. He started his career as a Physical Education teacher and coach but went into sales to support his family. After retirement, William returned to his passion as a substitute teacher and Modified baseball coach at Honeoye. He was an avid Syracuse and New York sports fan and loved his grand-dogs. Calling hours will be Monday, January 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
