Obituary of Gary Reed

GARY S. REED CANANDAIGUA: Gary Reed, 61, of Spangle Street died peacefully at Rochester General Hospital on March 1. Gary was born in Maryland on Dec. 3, 1951 to the late Clifton and Ava Pinkham Reed. He owned and operated Gary's Painting for over 20 years. All those who knew Gary will remember him for his devotion to family, love of singing, hunting and playing softball. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Reed; His children Valerie (David) Ayres, Gary Reed, Jr., Lane Reed, Derek Reed and Loren Reed; his stepson Ben Drayn; his grandchildren Taylor, Arielle & Olivia; Victoria, Caleb & Vanessa; Madison & Mya and Hailey; his sisters Amy (Robert) Klock, Julie Sypnier and Jodi (Yuri) Zdunek and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Gary's life will begin at the United Church of Bristol, Tuesday morning at 11:00. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. It has been suggested that memorials be directed to the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation.
