Obituary of Ruth Sniffen

RUTH IMOGENE SNIFFEN CANANDAIGUA: Ruth Sniffen, 98, of Greenbriar Drive, March 3, at Elm Manor. Born in Ilion, NY on Nov.15, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Alvin A. and Mabel Welchans Wolf. She was a graduate of Syracuse University School of Nursing (1937). The widow of Edwin Sniffen, who died in 2004, she is survived by her children Edwin "Ted" (Phyllis) Sniffen, Syracuse, Richard (Cindy) Sniffen, Wilmington, NC, David Sniffen, Arlington, VA and Kathleen (Michael) Sweeney,Canandaigua; her grandchildren Greg & Debra Sniffen, Richie & Jennifer Sniffen, Michele Mercado and Kelly Sweeney; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, NY Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. where funeral services will begin following visitation at 3:00 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
