Obituary of Linda Maxion

Linda Maxion Canandaigua: Linda Maxion passed away peacefully on April 3, 2013 after her courageous battle with Cancer. She is predeceased by her father, William J. Maxion and mother, Janis Benham Maxion. Linda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert “Bob” McMahon; daughters, Debi (Jim) Maloney and Jennifer (Joe) Mehigan; son, Gordy (Jennifer) Jones; stepdaughter, Katharine McMahon; her cherished grandchildren, Alex, Griffin, Olivia, Parker, Pierce and Paxton, several cousins and many dear friends. Linda was active with the Canandaigua Salvation Army and the Granger Homestead. Also, close to her heart was the Thompson Hospital Blood lab, Canandaigua Business Improvement District, including, The Maxion Stage at the Commons Park and most recently creating her beloved “Linda’s Garden” at Highland Hospital. The family would like to extend special thanks to the "girls" and staff of 5 East at Highland Hospital for making her difficult journey bearable. Friends may call Saturday April 27, 2013 from 2-4 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua, where a 4 pm Celebration of Life will follow at the funeral home.
