Obituary of Robert Sherman

Robert Sherman Canandaigua- Robert Sherman, 80, of Tillotson St., passed away May 15, 2013 at his home. Bob is survived by his wife, Jean Marie (Kreamer) Sherman; son, Larry (Adora) Sherman; grandchildren, Ashly, Alicia, Kara, Michelle and Derrick; great-grandchildren, Kallie Lynn Merulla, Lillian and Tucker Law. He was a member of Seneca Falls VFW Post 6433, Korean War Veterans Association Chapter #1, and Shortsville American Legion Post 34. He also was a Scout Master for 50 years. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea. As Master Sgt. in the 187th Air Bourne/ 7th army, Bob received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and many other Army commendations. After his military service, Bob became assistant manager with Pinkerton Security, in charge of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY. Friends May call Saturday May 18 from 10 am-1pm. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua, where a 1 p.m. funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
