ROBERT H. WILLSEY Korean War Veteran BLOOMFIELD: Robert Willsey, 76, of Whalen Road, died Friday, May 8, 2009 at his home. Bob was born in Troy, NY on May 28, 1932 to the late Earle and Mary Louise Willsey. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from the Army Reserves in 1975 with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of Bloomfield Savage Post 970 American Legion. Bob had been a millwright with Boulter Carting & Rigging in Rochester for many years retiring in 1994. He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Saar Willsey of Bloomfield; his daughters Debbra (Michael) Woodruff of Bloomfield and Sandra Willsey of Farmington; his grandchildren Amy (Denny) Beadnell of Bloomfield and Allyse Lemen and Colin Lemen of Victor-Farmington; two great grandchildren Marissa and Caleb Beadnell of Bloomfield; his brother Donald (Dorothy) Willsey of Mechanicsville, NY; his sister Gladys (Ed) Faulkner of Waterford, NY; his sisters-in-law Jenny Willsey of Mechanicsville, Dorothy Markham of Bloomfield and Barbara Saar of Canandaigua; his brother-in-law Donald Saar of Dade City, FL and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Frederick in 1997. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church Tuesday morning at 9:00 with burial in the East Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bloomfield Savage Post 970 American Legion, Ontario-Yates Hospice or the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church Building Fund.
