Grandpa Holland always had a special love for his German Shepard named Smokey, who passed several years ago. He loved Smokey just like a son, and both of them fought a long and difficult battle in their final days. When Smokey died, it left Larry with a broken heart, although he didn't always show it. It makes me happy to know that wherever they are now, they're both free of illness and finally together again.

It has truely saddened our hearts to lose our good friend Larry Holland- aka H. We have been blessed on sharing many wonderful memories with Larry and Elisabeth from the swamps of Mississippi to the sunshine state of Florida. Our friend was a very proud, honorable and intelligent person. We've learned a lot from Larry. As we have to say "See you later Larry" for now. We are blessed to still have Elisabeth as our friend and Ron and Dennis in which we had the pleasure of meeting. What a beautiful bonded, loving family the Holland's have. Larry and Elisabeth are very proud of their family and shared this with Rich and I many times. God Bless you all. Our thoughts and love will be with you. Friends to the end. Linda and Rich Young

Dad Holland was a talented, quiet man. His woodworking skills will be appreciated for many years to come. Josh treasures the cars that Grandpa Holland made. He always laughed at the grandkids antics (even when the parents didn't think they were so funny)!
May he rest in peace knowing that family and friends will look out for Mom. She took such good care of him for all of their years together. He will be missed.

Even the angels must be crying because of the terrible pain Larry endured with his recent illness. A more thoughtful and better husband cannot be found as he spoke of his family in the most endearing ways. He was a thoughtful and cherished friend as we came to know him from our travels in our Bluebird motorhomes. Larry and Betty came to visit us and participated in our Bluebird rally's here. Larry's wife Betty proved to be one of the most precious of our friends as my wife felt comfortable with her from their first meeting. We only wish that we could have became even closer friends, however my illness over the last several years would not allow it. Both Marj and I hope his family rises from this and become even closer,

Betty and family ......I was so sad to hear of Larry's passing. He was such a nice person. John and I enjoyed his company and John especially liked to go to breakfast with Larry with the other guys in Florida. I know that this is a difficult time for all of you and especially you Betty please take comfort that he is no longer suffering. Take hold of those wonderful memories and keep them close they will give you strength. Love Suzanne
